Ultimate Goal SATAN WORSHIP
|
|
Author
Lauren Stratford had identified these steps to satanic
involvement in teenagers. While the ultimate goal is
actual worship of Satan himself, vulnerable teens can be
swept easily into the movement. "Lures" center
on peer pressure and the need to fit in with the rest of
teen culture. Mass media has done an excellent job of
selling the satanic package. In addition to children
recruiting children, hard rock stations play indecent
lyrics round the clock. Cable television's 24-hour-a-day
MTV, network late night heavy metal concerts and
syndicated shows on local stations promote the message.
New Age teachings come across in many television programs.
Sadomasochism is featured in prime-time shows and late-night
movies. Add to this pressure to concorm in dress,
language, thoughts and interests and the lure is set. A
lack of moral absolutes at home and school feeds the
"anything goes" philosophy and the trap is
sprung. Drug and alcohol abuse makes middle schools prime
recruitment territory. Initial fascination with the
occult leads to fear and captivity in its victims,
building to open rebellion and rejection of religious and
societal values. copyrighted 1988,
