The Criminal Justice Center Task Force on Organized Occult Crimes & Gang Violence. was formed in 1990 to meet the alarming increase in occult ritualistic crimes. We have seen, over the past several years, an increasing danger developing in the area of occult activities. Drug cults, the disappearances of children, and the occult have, in numerous cases, been investigatively a ssociated. Therefore, many of us in law enforcement have sensed a need for credible, reliable, understandable, layman-level information on this subject.

According to statistics that scream to be heard, many young people have made pacts with the Devil to sell their own souls. There are increasing numbers of teenagers who have actually joined in oaths to kill their parents, one another, or themselves. Some have kept their word, and a grisly trail of occult-related crimes and suicides leaves nothing b ut the truth.

People who are involved in this ever-growing phenomenon need no unnecessary attention given to their bizarre activivities. However, the public must come to full alert to the obvious danger of satanic cult activity. In the past few months, we have received calls from numerous states concerning occult related crimes involving human sacrifice, rape, child-molestation, terroristic threats, suicide, etc.

It makes no difference what one believes about Satanism. The people who are involved in this form of worship DO fervently believe in it, and their religious practices are having an awesome effect on society as a whole.
